🍇 Event Day Assistant to Founder (Independent Contractor)


Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: The Conservatory at One Sansome, San Francisco
Rate: $200 flat rate
Must be 21+

Grapes & Goods is seeking a reliable, personable, and quick-on-their-feet Event Day Assistant to work directly with founder Monika Rose during our artisan market + wine event in downtown San Francisco.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist Monika with day-of event tasks and help keep everything running smoothly

  • Provide support for workshop panels and speakers — assist with check-in, direct them to their designated areas, manage attendee seating and session timing, ensure workshops run smoothly, and offer ongoing support to speakers as needed throughout the day.

  • Oversee guest registration/check-in and ensure a welcoming front-of-house experience

  • Answer questions from guests and vendors with a positive, helpful attitude

  • Be ready to jump in wherever needed throughout the event

  • Provide customer service support throughout the event, including answering guest questions and assisting as needed

Ideal Candidate:

  • Friendly, professional, and people-savvy

  • Calm under pressure and quick-thinking

  • Event experience is a plus, but not required


🍇 Registration & Welcome Desk Assistant (Independent Contractor)


Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: The Conservatory at One Sansome, San Francisco
Rate: $175 flat rate
Must be 21+

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and guest-focused Registration & Welcome Desk Assistant to help create a warm first impression at the Grapes & Goods artisan market + wine event.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome attendees at check-in

  • Scan tickets and check IDs (must be 21+)

  • Apply wristbands and badges

  • Distribute wine glassware and VIP tote bags

  • Answer guest questions about the event schedule, venue layout, and general info

  • Help maintain a smooth and inviting front-of-house experience

  • Provide customer service support throughout the event

Ideal Candidate:

  • Friendly and professional

  • Comfortable using a phone or tablet to scan tickets

  • Able to stand for periods of time and work in a busy event setting

  • Confident answering questions and helping guests feel taken care of

  • Prior event or customer service experience is a plus


🍇 Event Styling & Set-Up Assistant (Independent Contractor)


Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: The Conservatory at One Sansome, San Francisco
Rate: $175 flat rate
Must be 21+

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Event Styling & Set-Up Assistant to help bring the Grapes & Goods event atmosphere to life. If you love aesthetics, organizing, and don’t mind getting a little scrappy behind the scenes, this one’s for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload event decor and supplies from bins

  • Assemble and place signage throughout the venue

  • Style and place decor elements in key areas (registration, workshops, displays)

  • Assist with styling floral and grape-themed decor

  • Assist with front desk setup and VIP tote bag assembly

  • Restock wine glasses on display tables as needed throughout the day

  • Provide light customer service support when needed at the registration desk or around the venue

Ideal Candidate:

  • Detail-oriented and enjoys making things look beautiful and organized

  • Can lift bins or boxes (~20–30 lbs) and move around the venue comfortably

  • Comfortable taking direction and working independently

  • Upbeat and helpful when interacting with guests or team members

  • Event or visual merchandising experience is a plus, but not required
